'The Cottage' has sole use of the large (12m x 6m) swimming pool and is set within the grounds of the main house in walled gardens and orchard at the end of a little lane.

|  | Just 3km from the River Dronne and the mediaeval Village of Bourdeilles and 14km from the ancient island town of Brantome (The Venice of The erigord). Bourdeilles, with its C13th Palace, Chateau and C15th Bridge has many amenities including two small supermarkets, several boulangeries, restaurants and pavement cafes.
Brantome has a busy weekly market and boasts a Benedictine Abbey and an C11th bell tower. There is a wide selection of Bars, Restaurants, shops and banks. There are many Chateaux open for visits nearby and the prehistoric caves at nearby Villars are a must see.
